Burton Guster Crosses Over the Rainbow Bridge ~ January 3, 2011

Our beloved rat, Burton Guster Went OTRB yesterday, a VERY sad day for us all.   Everyone was shaking, no one could keep tears from their eyes.  Passion even came home from school early because she couldn't take it.  The two little kids didn't understand and we knew it would hurt us more every time they wanted to know where he was.  We decided to get 2 more rats (to keep each other warm and for company. It was going to be the most healing thing for us all.

I just got home with them and the three could be identical triplets.  I don't know what Passion's going to think but it's painful for me right now.  I hope it gets better!

Gus, baby, you and I were bonding so well and I loved you with all of my heart.  The loss of you is not something I'm going to get over quickly or easily.  Just know that I'm watching for your star every night now.  I Love You!  What else can I say? You've left a hole in my heart that may never be filled.  You're with me forever, until we meet again!
